What to Expect
Electricity
We are 100% off-grid and run mainly on solar, with a back up generator. For this reason, the electrical appliances we offer in our homes are limited (no microwave, iron, hair dryer), but there is no problem at all charging cell phones, laptops, cameras, tablets, etc.
Air conditioning is provided in all the homes, in the bedrooms only, and is available from 8 pm - 9 am.
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping is included. Our staff will time the cleaning of the home to minimize any inconvenience to guests, and will sweep, make the beds, take out the trash, and replenish the bottled water in the kitchen dispenser if necessary. Dishwashing is not included.
Tips are not included in the rental, and are truly appreciated by our staff.
Casa Colibri, Casa Pijiji, Casa Cenzontle, Studio Perico, Studio Buho: bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, dishcloths are provided and changed every third day.
Casa Dunia: bed linens, bath towels, dishcloths are provided and changed every other day; beach towels are changed daily.
Kitchens
All our homes have kitchens equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer, blender, coffee maker, kitchenware, tableware and glassware. No microwaves. No food items are provided.
Complimentary bottled water is provided in a dispenser in the kitchen, and replenished by our housekeeping staff when necessary.
Tap water is not potable.
Grocery shopping service is available for 500 MXN per list. Please ask for details.
We encourage the separation of recyclables and use of the correct receptacles in the kitchen. Our chickens are happy to receive your kitchen scraps.
Safety
Rancho San Eric is a guest-only, private, gated, beachfront property.
A gate fob is included on each home's key chain which opens the main gate from the street.
All homes have locking doors and windows. It is the responsibility of guests to close and lock windows and doors each time they leave their home.
Laptop-size safes are provided in each home.
There are security cameras at the main gate and at each beach staircase.
All our staff work, live and sleep on the property.
General Policies
The property and shared pool of Rancho San Eric are for guests only.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool.
All homes are for accommodations only. We do not permit parties, events, large gatherings, loud noises / music, disruptive behavior, illegal drugs / activities, audio visual / DJ equipment.
The number of visitors per house should not exceed 50% of the capacity of the home at any one time.
Visitors are not allowed overnight.
Visitors are not allowed use of the pool.
All visitors and vendors must be registered prior to arrival.
Check in: 3 pm
Check out: 11 am for Casa Dunia / 12 noon for all other homes
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your stay, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to your arrival date. All payments made are non-refundable.
