The Grounds and Gardens

Once you enter the gate you find yourself on an enchanted road in a magical kingdom. The houses can still be seen only faintly through the palms. You are in an oasis of tropical beauty.

Carlos and Berta have carefully planned and trimmed the tropical vegetation to produce this wonderland. Their goal is to provide a setting of native plants and flowers.

Situated adjacent to the Sian Ka'an Reserve, bird life is abundant as are cozy locations for viewing.   Peace and quiet are the rule.

Berta and Carlos have helpers in their gardening efforts, both human and otherwise. This lady is responsible for keeping the grass short!

These flowers are not always in bloom.   But when they are, they are a wondrous sight.

Everywhere one looks one comes upon little pools with colorful flowers.
