DRIVING  DIRECTIONS  FROM  CANCUN

(128 km / 80 miles; approx. 2 hours drive)

From Cancun International Airport, turn right to filter onto Highway 307. You will now be heading south on the highway. You will pass the towns of Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal and Tankah.

 

Right before Tulum downtown, you will arrive at the intersection with highway 109 to Coba (at this traffic light, you will see a supermarket AKI on your right).  Turn left, towards the ocean. You will pass a Chedraui supermarket on your left, then the Red Cross, Police and Fire stations on your left, and then a PEMEX gas station on your right. Continue until you come to a small roundabout (at KORE hotel). Turn right.

 

You will now be traveling south, on the Tulum beach road. Continue south for another 7 km (4.3 miles). You will pass Zamas, Maya Tulum, Amansala, Posada Margarita, Ana y Jose, La Zebra, Be Tulum, Nomade, Casa Zaba.  Just after Casa Zaba, you will see a tall, undulating stone wall on the left with our "Rancho San Eric" sign next to our wooden gate. Please ring the bell and wait for one of our staff to open the gate.

You'll know if you've missed the Rancho San Eric gate when you pass under the stone archway into the Sian Ka'an Biosphere (the road ceases to be paved, and becomes a dirt road). Back up 150 m (yards) and you should see our gate.
